The club is easy to start. We talked with the Director of Children's Education at our Church first. This not only made them aware that we wanted to start such a club but they also helped us get a budget started. Next, we talked to our Church's Missions Council. This got us the contacts we needed to coordinate our club projects with the Mission Council's agenda and made them aware of our existence.
Church Awareness is essential to your club's success. This "Public Relations" has two sides. First, to get club members interested in participating. And second, to make your congregation aware that our children need to learn God's Word.
Prior to our first meeting, we made posters, visited all Adult and Children Sunday School classes and put the information in our church newsletter. We also had parents complete information sheets for the new club members. These sheets collected information about names, email addresses, and phone numbers.
We have added the Bible Brigade Handbook to our website.
The document is in Microsoft Word format.
It is located within the NEW "BB Download Area" at:

responses from others who have been right where you are and can give you information
about how they handled it. Please note this is not a real-time chat room. The responses
will be received as others get a chance to read the questions and repsond.

Sometimes the member's need a boost in the motivation department. We have found that one of the best ways to combat this is to use preventative measures. Doing things like "Thank You" candy grahams, game night meetings, crafts and of course the Bible Brigade Store that they can take home will help you keep your members on fire for Jesus!
